Meet the Team

  • Luke Du Preez

    PHYSIOTHERAPIST

    Luke has two postgraduate degrees, first in Exercise Physiology from the University of Western Australia, and now Physiotherapy from Curtin University. Luke has completed research on athletes after ACL reconstruction and intends on completing a PhD in the future.

    Luke has a keen interest in the management of athletes, with experience working with Rugby, AFL, MMA and Football. Luke currently works alongside physio Elliott at Perth Glory Academy.

    In his spare time, you can find Luke training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu as an avid lover of martial arts.

    Luke loves to treat:
    - Chronic pain, specifically long-standing neck and back pain
    - Return to sport rehab following traumatic injury (ACL, meniscus, fractures)
    - Sporting overuse injuries
    - Concussion
    - Martial art athletes (Judo, MMA, Wrestling, Boxing, Muay Thai and BJJ)

  • Elliott Burton

    PHYSIOTHERAPIST

    Elliott completed his Physiotherapy degree at Curtin University and has a degree in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of Western Australia.

    Elliott is the Physio for Perth Glory Football Club Youth and Academy Teams.

    Elliott enjoys running and plays footy for West Coast Amateurs.

    Elliott loves to treat:
    - Post-operative rehab
    - Hip and groin injuries
    - AFL and Football athletes
    - Runners
    - Neck pain

    Jessica Lai

    DIRECTOR & PHYSIOTHERAPIST

    Jessica completed her Physiotherapy degree at the University of Notre Dame and is currently doing her Masters in Sports Physiotherapy at Curtin University.

    Jessica was an elite athlete in the sport of Olympic weightlifting having represented Australia on numerous occasions.

  • Jamison Ruscoe

    Jamison Ruscoe

    DIRECTOR & PHYSIOTHERAPIST

    Jamison completed a double degree in Physiotherapy and Exercise & Sport Science at the University of Notre Dame. She is currently doing her Masters in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at Curtin University.

    Jamison has a background in dance and elite gymnastics as well as personal experience with Hypermobility Spectrum Disorder.
